THE PLANNING
Rachel and Dylan were a blast to work with! Lead planner Kellie had so much fun planning with the bride and her mom Cynthia. We helped work through all the details so they could have an amazing day at Camrose Hill with their 85 guests!
THE MORNING
As everyone arrived on site we were so pleased to see that Minnesota gave us the most perfect fall day! The ladies got ready in the bridal suite with Primped who gave them all the prettiest glam. Rachel then slipped into her stunning gown from Flutter Bridal to complete her look. She looked straight out of a fairytale!
Eric Lundgren Photography then led the couple outside for their first look. We love seeing this sweet moment between couples! They then made their way around the grounds for portraits. The great part about Camrose Hill is that you can go anywhere and end up with the most stunning backdrops! Their wedding party then joined them for a few group photos.
THE CEREMONY
The fairy glen ceremony site was decorated beautifully by the Camrose Hill florists and looked perfect for fall! They decorated the arch and provided mason jars with flowers down the aisle. After the ceremony the RE team repurposed these as cocktail table decor. The couple also rented our welcome sign and easel to place at the entrance of the ceremony. The whole scene made for the perfect location for Dillan Ray Films to capture their day!
The couple had an intimate wedding party consisting of 2 members on each side. The sister of the bride was their maid of honor, and the groom had a best woman in place of a best man! After sending them down the aisle, it was time for Rachel to make her grand entrance. She looked beautiful as she was escorted down the aisle by her mom. Rachel and Dylan then shared a lovely ceremony with their friends and family before making their way back down the aisle to partake in a receiving line where guests congratulated them.
After the ceremony, the RE team repurposed the decor and coordinated the moving of ceremony chairs rented from Ultimate Events from the ceremony to the reception tent.
THE RECEPTION
After making their way through the receiving line, guests headed to the grassy area for cocktail hour. There were passed appetizers from Kafe 421 and beverages served up by With a Twist. Everyone was able to enjoy hosted beer, wine, and a signature drink!
Meanwhile, the vendors were prepping the reception space decor. There were 12 tables total from Ultimate Events with our table numbers placed on them to direct guests to their seats per the seating chart. Camrose Hill perfected the florals once again and added a few candles to the tables. The couple also rented linens, napkins, and colored glassware from Apres which added the perfect touch of elegance to the space. The grand head table was centered in the space, with 19 seats and rustic wood tables provided by Camrose Hill.
The gift and card table was available to guests throughout the day on Camrose’s wood cart. The couple rented our burlap card box and our gift and cards sign to decorate it. Upon dropping off their gifts and cards, guests were also able to sign the couple’s traditional guest book. Our guest book chalk sign that the couple rented clearly marked this. The couple wanted to make sure to recognize the bride’s father who had passed away, so we placed a photo of him and a candle. We loved this sweet touch!
Once everything was set, it was time for dinner! We began welcoming guests into the reception space to find their seats and enjoy the stunning decor. The couple then did a grand entrance and said a welcome speech before inviting guests to enjoy the delicious buffet from Kafe 421. Near the end of dinner, the RE team cued the toasts and speeches. These left guests with happy tears and plenty of laughs! After speeches, guests indulged in the yummy dessert that Kafe 421 provided, which consisted of various treats to choose from!
It was then time for the couple’s first dance! The stunning reception space mixed with this couple made for the most magical moment. Eric Lundgren Photography did a great job capturing it! The bride and groom were then joined by their moms to do a mother/bride and mother/groom dance at the same time. It was truly so sweet! Once these dances wrapped up, Carlie from Adagio opened up the dance floor to everyone. The RE team loves working with Carlie, she gets the vibes right every time!
As the night went on guests enjoyed dancing, playing our bean bag and washer toss games, and socializing. Everyone got even more excited when the pizza late night snack made its debut! You truly can’t go wrong with providing a late night snack. ;) The RE team then made sure everything got cleaned up and packed away as the couple added our clean up package add-on.
