THE PLANNING

We had such a great time helping Jocelyn and Jeff’s wedding dreams come to life! Lead planner Kellie has opened up her front porch for meetings when the weather allows, which is where Jocelyn and Kellie met to plan their wedding details.

THE MORNING

The early June morning brought a beautiful sunny day, and with it, record breaking temperatures reaching 95-100 degrees! Thankfully, Redeemed Farm offers air conditioned buildings to help everyone stay cool. The ladies got ready in the bridal suite with Primped giving them stunning makeovers! The guys got ready and hung out in the groom's quarters. While the wedding party was enjoying their morning, the RE team got to work setting out the decor, greeting vendors, and making sure all of the details were in place. The bride and groom decided to keep the decor very simple and understated to highlight the beauty of Redeemed Farm.

After getting ready, the couple did a first look (which was super sweet)! They then met up with the wedding party (5 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen) in The Stable for group photos with Ben Konfrst Photography. The Stable provides amazing lighting and has AC which was very much appreciated on this hot day! After wrapping up pictures, the RE team gathered the wedding party for a quick day of rehearsal. We find day-of-rehearsals super helpful in nailing down the timing, songs, microphone logistics and ceremony order!

THE CEREMONY

Despite the heat, the couple opted to do an outdoor ceremony overlooking the vineyard at Redeemed and it turned out beautiful! We gathered guests inside The Stable to be able to stay cool as long as possible and directed them to take their seats right before the ceremony to avoid more time in the sun. The groomsmen entered by walking down the aisle as a group, followed by the bridesmaids who walked down individually. Jocelyn was escorted by her dad and made a stunning grand entrance! During the ceremony, Jodi, the mother of the bride, did a beautiful reading that left everyone feeling the love in the air. The couple read their heartfelt vows, locked them in with a kiss, and they were officially married!

THE RECEPTION

The heat of the outdoor ceremony, yard games, and socializing left everyone extremely thirsty - there were gallons upon gallons of water consumed that day! Guests were encouraged to head to the Machine Shop for refreshments from the bar hosted by Liquid Motion. When it was time for dinner, guests made their way to the Red Historic Barn. The meal was served buffet style and was provided by Sterling Catering & Events. The guest tables were decorated with RE decor including our table numbers and lanterns. Flore Inspired accented these pieces with some greenery and floral which turned out super cute! Dessert was made by Thirsty Whale and consisted of delicious donuts, cupcakes, and a mini cake for the couple to cut. They were placed on our dessert stands and we also provided an adorable “love is sweet” banner as decor! The RE team made sure to refill the dessert display with yummy treats as needed for guests to enjoy.

As dinner wrapped up, the RE team directed guests to The Stable where the dancing would take place. The couple shared a beautiful first dance, followed by two sweet parent dances. Harmony DJ Entertainment kept the party going all night while guests filtered on and off the dance floor. The couple decided to include our rental furniture (which we delivered), to create comfy soft seating areas for guests to enjoy within The Stable. We love seeing guests being comfy while they mingle with family and friends. After the dance was underway, Jocelyn and Jeff participated in the tradition of the “lock and key”, which was given to them by Redeemed to place on the grain bin as a forever remembrance of this special day! Around sunset there was a refreshing, light summer shower that aiding in cooling off the temperature and refreshing everyone!
